Find English-Speaking Medical Care by Prefecture
Japan International Clinic ASAKUSA is a single clinic in Taito-ku, Tokyo. We are not a nationwide chain and we do not have branches in other prefectures. These pages exist for a specific reason: a large number of our patients travel to Tokyo from elsewhere in Japan, either because there is no clinic near them where the consultation itself is held in English, or because they need an English-language medical certificate or test result that is difficult to obtain locally.
Each prefecture page explains the practical side of that journey — the usual route to Asakusa, roughly how long it takes, whether a same-day return is realistic, and what to prepare before you set off. Where a region has its own seasonal health pattern, the page covers that too.

Before You Travel from Another Prefecture
Travelling for medical care is worth a little planning. Book online rather than walking in if you are arriving on a tight schedule, since it shortens the wait considerably. Bring the generic name of any medication you take, not just the packaging. If you have had tests done recently, bring the results. And if you are flying back the same day, tell us when you book — it lets us prioritise anything that needs laboratory processing time.
