Getting to Asakusa from the Airports and Central Tokyo

Asakusa is easy to reach by train from either international airport, usually with no more than one change. The times below are typical weekday estimates; allow extra during rush hour.

• Narita Airport (NRT): Take the Keisei Narita Sky Access Line. Access Express services that continue onto the Toei Asakusa Line reach Asakusa Station in roughly 60 to 70 minutes without changing trains; otherwise change at Aoto or Oshiage.
• Haneda Airport (HND): Take the Keikyu Airport Line from the terminal. Many trains run straight through onto the Toei Asakusa Line, giving a single ride of about 40 to 50 minutes.
• Tokyo Station: About 20 minutes — JR Yamanote Line one stop to Kanda, then the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa, the end of the line.
• Shinjuku: About 30 to 35 minutes — JR Chuo Line to Kanda, then the Ginza Line. Ueno, Ginza and Shibuya are all direct on the Ginza Line with no transfer.

Where We Are in the Asakusa Sightseeing Area

If you have been sightseeing in Asakusa, you are already close by. Kaminarimon — the red lantern gate leading to Nakamise shopping street and Senso-ji temple — is a short walk away, as is the Sumida River promenade where the sightseeing boats depart. Tokyo Skytree stands directly across the river, a handy landmark for orienting yourself. If you are staying in the Asakusa area, that usually means a short walk rather than a trip across the city to find an English-speaking doctor.

Coming In on the Day of Your Visit

We are open every day of the year, 9:00 to 19:00, and no appointment is needed. Walk-in patients are welcome throughout opening hours, though the earlier in the day you arrive, the more time there is to complete your visit unhurried.

The doctor consults with you in English directly, with no interpreter in the room; staff also assist in Chinese, Korean and Japanese. The first visit is a flat ¥33,000, with a specialist referral letter an additional ¥11,000, and you do not need Japanese national health insurance to be seen. Payment: Credit Cards Only — We Cannot Accept Cash

Please note carefully: this clinic accepts payment by credit card only. Cash cannot be accepted. Make sure you are carrying a working credit card before you set out, and check that it is valid for overseas use with enough available credit for the consultation fee.

Accessibility

Our clinic is on the 7th floor and is not barrier-free. We are unable to accommodate patients arriving by wheelchair or with similar mobility needs. If you have any concern about reaching us, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp before you travel so we can talk through your situation and, where appropriate, write a referral letter to a facility that can take it further.
